LOVE • (A FEELING or A CHOICE)

Hello everyone  Today my topic will be something different from beauty. I’ll be discussing about love and marriage. This topic somehow get my attention for it. So I plan to share with you guys.

Recently I have read through an article from a blog (Click here to read the complete article) titled Relationships Don’t Last Based On Feelings, But Choices. This article is quite interesting. It says that marriage is a choice, it’s a conscious commitment. On the other hand, feeling is something that will keep on changing that we can’t depends on it for our marriage. At this moment we may say that we are in love, but who knows the next moment we’ll hate each other. In a marriage, when problems arise people either choose to stay and fix it or leave which is divorce. So based on the whole explanation and examples, it may seems that relationships is a choice rather than feeling. However, it’s all based on personal opinion and thinking.

In my opinion, love is a mixture of feelings and choices. If you don’t have the feelings to the person at first, how will it turns to a choice or decision (whether to be marry or not). When the relationship is new, is all about the feelings that you have towards he or she. It’s fun and enjoyable. ( I believe that’s the same for everyone who’s in the beginning of the relationship. It’s loving). I also agreed that feelings will fade. When times pass, years after years, there always a slight feeling of confusion  (is the person your Mr.Right or Mrs.Right). This questions will somehow pop up  to me when I have arguments with my partner. But evertime I will choose to stay because no one is perfect. I believe that when people say they found their right person, it’s actually refer to they go through and fix things together rather than leaving. Both parties are willing to commit to each other. Of course, when things can’t be fix you choose to leave and start a new relationship. (Again it’s is a new cycle of feelings and choices.)

Love and marriage. It is not a things that we can just sum up with words or sentences. Everyone have different thoughts and feelings. We can’t say who’s right and who’s wrong. There’s always both to balance up.

Reviews : As I have said I’m oily and dehydrated skin type. If you are having the same problem as me, this serum is all you need! At first, the word hydration and moisture really make me hesitate to try this product. I really scared that the product will make my skin to produce more oil because of over hydration and moisture. But it’s wrong!!! The texture of this product is ultra-lightweight just like water. It doesn’t give me any sticky feeling after application. My skin appear to be smoother and even my redness has been reduced. The absorption of this serum is really fast, I feel that my skin is really moisture now. Most of the dry patches on my acne has improved a lot. This product is also suitable for sensitive skin. This serum is now my third purchase. I really love it so much.

Application : 1. After cleansing and toning 2. Apply 4-6 drops of hyaluronic original evenly over the face in the morning and night. 3. Follow with skin moisturizer

Beauty So Clean

Hello everyone, today I just wanna share something quick with you guys. I’m a person who love to keep my things clean all the times, a bit of dirt on my stuff will surely piss me off. Hygiene is very important to me.

I know most of you are also same like me. We clean our hands, our clothes and our homes, but we never clean the very products we put directly on our faces, lips and eyes! If you are a beauty lover, love to do makeup, you definitely know that all the products will get dirty quite fast. Sometimes we even shares our makeup with mom, sisters or friends. Of course you wanna keep your products that used on face and skin clean and hygiene. You don’t wanna have any sensitivity or infection issues. So I came across this product brand that help me to solve all the problems.

This is a brand name Beauty So Clean. It’s a brand founded by International Makeup Artist, Nancy Crossley. The brand is professionals in keeping all your beauty product clean, safe and bacteria-free. Product that we use on our face, lips and eyes can gather bacteria from the oil on our skin, our fingers (especially when we use them for application) and coughing or sneezing during makeup application. Some of these bacteria can lead to eye irritations and infections, skin irritations and even encourage acneic breakouts.

This brand basically has 3 main products. They are Cosmetics sanitizer mist, Cosmetics sanitizer wipes, and Conditioning brush cleanser.

Cosmetics Sanitizer Mist

The mist is mainly for powder based-products (eyeshadows, blushers, pressed powder, bronzers) and cream-based products (compact foundation, concealers, cream blush/eyeshadows).

Cosmetics Sanitizer Wipes

The wipes is to removes bacteria and germs on lip-gloss, lipstick, lip gloss in a pot/tub, eye pencils, lip pencils and mascara wands.

Conditioning Brush Cleanser

When your brush need a ‘bath’, all you need is this.

Reviews: I personally love the cosmetics sanitizer wipes the most. It comes in a box with all small pack of wipes. It’s so convincent to carry around with me all the times. Whenever I feel like my products need a clean, I can just use it so easily. I use the wipes to clean my lipstick and mascara the most. As we will use lipstick all the times especially after dining, to keep my lipstick clean and bacteria-free I use this all the times. When I go for travel, I always bring the sanitizer wipes with me. I even use it to clean my brush when I’m traveling. As for the mist, I purchase the medium size (120ml) just to clean my beauty products during my free times once in awhile. The products do have a little alcohol smells to me. (After I check their ingredients of products, there’s ethyl alcohol in it. If you are sensitive to alcohol, I advise you to check before purchasing). Overall, I would so that is a great products.

For this month I’ll be sharing a product that I first came across when I’m traveling in Taiwan. Taiwan is a place that all beauty junkies should go and explore. It is just full of beauty skincare and cosmetics that you can use from head to toes. *I wish to stay  in Taiwan forever.

The brand name is KYL广源良 (pronounced as Kuang Yuan Liang).  It’s a Taiwan local brand. Their products is claimed to be natural and organic. One of the products from this brand that I like love the most is KYL广源良 Luffa Spring Water.

The key ingredients of this toner is ONLY luffa water!!! Can you imagine it. It’s produced without any other chemicals!!! That’s the extra points for it. It’s suitable for all skin types. Luffa is a vegetable that has the properties of anti-inflammatory. It’s good for people with acne problems. This toner is just like water. It doesn’t have any smells or sticky feeling. Again I repeat, IT’S LIKE WATER!!! It can be use as a toner or just a mist for extra hydration and moisture.

I always carry this toner with me whenever I go. Especially for a girl like me who stay in a country that’s extra hot all the times. This toner has helps to calm my skin a lot. It doesn’t really work like how others skincare does that will shows extra improvement but it does helps in cooling and calming. Sometimes I even spray it on my arms and legs after a long exposure under the sun. I’ll give a big thumbs up for this.

The price of this product is worth for it. (If I didn’t wrong it is less than 20$USD). *I’m regrets that I didn’t buy a box back from Taiwan. They are selling it as a price for 2* I’m now already using the fourth bottle of it. If you are traveling to Taiwan, don’t ever forget to buy a bottle and try it. You will fall in love for it.

REGEN COSMETIC – 2 STEP Synergy Effect Mask

Hello everyone, today I’ll wanna share with you girls about a Korean Mask that I have been using recently. The brand name is Regen Cosmetic. Regen cosmetic is a prestige brand name by plastic surgeons and dermatologist of Seoul National University. Regen is the largest Korea leading beauty medical group which includes dermatology, dentistry and cosmetic. Regen Medical Group has received The Medical Korea Awards from 2010 to 2014 consecutively, which is considered one of the most prestigious and authoritative awards in the medical profession.

Plastic surgery is very common for nowadays that not only for celebrities. I personally have few friends around me that have undergo plastic surgery for nose and eyes job. However, I’m not that types that will put my face under that knife just for beauty. (I’m kinda scared of it… Hahaha)  So when I first came across about this mask that will give you a define V-line without undergoing any surgery (No more double chin), I’m definitely trying it!!!

They have five different types of mask for this range: Moisturizing, Whitening, Wrinkle, Pore, and Nutrition. I have try many different types of mask in my life, but this mask is really interesting to me. I purchased the Pore type and using it once for every week.

There are total 2 mask in the packaging. The first mask is just like others mask sold in the market that’s soak with serum. This one is for the forehead and check. The second piece of mask is to define the V-line. It’s more thicker that the other mask. The outer part of it is cotton and the inner part of it is like jelly. Just relax for 20 minutes after you put on the mask. Then you will get the effect of it.

Overall of this mask is quite satisfying. The pore types do calm my skin and tighten up the pores. I will recommend for acne prone skin to try. I use it only at night. If you have tried Korean mask before, you may know that their mask is really sticky compared to others. It doesn’t have any sting smell of it. The first mask is really moisturizing. They do have quite a lot of serum it in. However, the lifting effect of V-line for me doesn’t show up much. But I’m still not so disappointing as I know it’s just a mask. Maybe if using it for a longer period you may see the effect of it. I’ll wanna try others types of this mask as well.

HERMO Haul

Hello everyone, it’s finally time to show you the goodies that I picked up from Hermo.

Hermo is like Sephora in Malaysia. Sephora is more on Western and European beauty, but Hermo provides a wide range of Asia especially Korean products. They provide varieties of beauty products from head to toes even beauty food!!! Their products is cheap compared to others beauty site. I really love them  Almost all of my products are from them.

Back to the main topic. So this time I have pick up few products from Korea and Taiwan.

• 1028 Glow Primer

1028 is a Taiwan beauty brand by a by a famous Taiwan make-up artist Xiao Kai Lao Shi. It offers a wide range of make-up and cleansing products. Since the founder was a make-up artist himself, he (and his friends) often gets chance to promote their products on TV show. So I really wanted to try it by myself. This glow primer offer in 2 range (white and pink). I purchased the one in pink to mix in my foundation for a subtle glow.

• 1028 Super Hydrating Mineral Powder

This is another products from 1028. I bought this products because it looks quite interesting to me. It’s actually a compacted mineral powder by with a metal scrap on top of it. When you turn the metal scrap, it will turn to be loose powder. This is already amazed me. The interesting part is this powder comes in 2 types, matte and shimmer. Yup, Shimmer!!! I don’t know about you, but I personally haven’t try any powder with shimmer in it. It’s just make me so curious to try.

• Mizon Vita Lemon Sparkling Toner

Mizon is a beauty brand from Korea. The only reason why I choose this toner is simply attracted to the lemon ingredients. Lemon is famous for the brightening effects and of course treating those stupid acne and pimples. Recently I just have few pimples pop up on my face. I really hate it and wanna find solution. So I bought it.

• Mizon Enjoy Vital-up Time Variety Set

I love mask. Mask is just for lazy girl like me. When I’m tired and doesn’t feel like doing any things for my face, I’ll just put on a mask and go for sleep. When I saw this mask, I immediately bought. It’s a set of ten for $9!!!

• White Formula Super Moist With Hyaluronic Acid Travel Set

Seriously this is just a extra products that I bought. I simply add this to my shopping bag because of the travel size that I can just bring along with me when I’m going to gym. It has a facial form, a toner and a lotion. All this three is 20ml.

So that’s all for my Hermo haul this time. After I have used all the products, I’ll definitely write a full review on it. So stay tunes.

CNP-Laboratory Anti-Blemish Spot Pads

Hello everyone, recently my skin is in a bad condition. This may due to the current weather in Malaysia. It’s really hot and hazy here. The air condition over here is really bad. Few pimples have pop up in a consequences days on my face. I’m really sad about it. So I have go to Hermo and search is there any products can help me out. Finally, I came across this product named CNP Laboratory.

About CNP Laboratory

At last, I have bought the CNP Laboratory Anti-blemish Spot Pads. The pads is help to relieves skin blemishes and reduce the appearance of redness. It also claims to leaves skin looking smoother and clear. It also has pore tightening and anti-oily effect. It control excess sebum and cleans the pores to leave the skin looking clearer and healthier. The pads also contain pantheons and beta-glucan that quickly penetrate deep into the skin to keep it hydrate.

In a small box, there is three small packet in it. Each small packet inside got 2 small pads. The pads got two surface, smooth and rouge. The rouge surface is to gently eliminate dead skin cells and impurities from pores.

How to use: First, hold one piece of pad with smooth surface facing upwards. Then, put the pad on blemish area of your face for 10-15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the pad and hold it with the rouge surface facing upwards. Lastly, use the rouge surface to wipe of keratin areas (dead skin cells).

Reviews: I personally think that this products is not so effective in reducing my pimples size. The redness is still there. In a small box, there is only three packet. Which means you can only use for three times. At first, I thought it will be very effective since there’s only 3 pads. So the results must be very good. But it doesn’t show that way. As you may know, Korean products might be more sticky compared to others. So do this. My last thoughts, I’m quite disappointed with this product. I think I’ll not repurchase this again. If you are planning to buy this, think twice before getting it. However, if you still wanna give it a try you can do so, since the price is reasonable too.

Laneige Oil-free Cleansing Liquid

Hello everyone, hope you have a nice days. Today I’m gonna share with you a Laneige product. For those who didn’t know about Laneige it’s actually a famous Korean brand. If you are a big fan of Laneige products, you surely have came across this Oil-free Cleansing Liquid.

This product is introduced by a Sephora sales girl to me. At that moment, I actually cleanse my face three times (you might have heard about double cleansing…but I’m doing triple cleansing!). My first steps will be micellar water, follow by this Laneige Oil-Free Cleasing Liquid, and then will be my form cleanser. (I know is not good to over cleanse your face but if I’m having heavy makeup and after a long day this will be my normal routine). Sometimes, if my makeup isn’t too heavy I’ll just skip the first step.

This cleanser is actually suitable to all skin types even sensitive skin because it’s a plant based liquid . As its stated in the bootle itself, it’s free of oil, fragrance and alcohol. It’s actually a moisturizing and hydrating liquid for soft and plump skin. It claims that it’s a mild and freshing liquid cleanser that supplies moisture and removes makeup at the same time. It contains peppermint extracts and exfoliating lemon extracts sooth the skin to leave it smooth. Dermatologic test and non-comedogenjc test proved that it hardly causes allergic reactions.

How to use
1. Pump out thrice and gently massage onto the face for about one minute to allow the makeup and impurities to melt off. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
2. The oil-free type cleanser is thorough enough for single use, but foam cleanser can be used if desired.

I have finish up a bottle of this product. The price is also quite reasonable for 175ml.  This products is actually quite satisfying if you are gonna use it just for mild makeup removing like sunscreen and light base makeup. It doesn’t contain any smell and it does not sting the eyes as well. It also doesn’t cause me any breakouts. However, I will not purchase it again because it can’t removes my Stila and Urban Decay eyeliner and also some waterproof and tinted cosmetics products. I’m trying to reduces my products so that I doesn’t need to go through so my steps of cleansing and my face can still be clean and moisture. If you have any suggestion please let me know, cause it’s really difficult to find one that is really suitable while reaching my expectations.

Product that disappointing

Hello everyone, today I’m sharing a few products that is dissapointing me after trying it. There’s always some products that we purchased and excited to try for it but didn’t work out like what we have expected. That’s quite sad about it. So to avoid such problems happened on you, I just wanna share a few thoughts of mine for these products.

CP-1 Volume Express and Miniso True Queen Waterproof Eyeliner

• Miniso True Queen Waterproof Eyeliner

Miniso is a Japan fast fashion brand and headquartered in Tokyo. They do have a wide range of products include household, health and beauty, food and drink, digital gifts and some seasonal products. The price is reasonable with good quality. I have purchased few things before from the Miniso store and the products functioning quite well. However, this eyeliner that I bought I’m very dissapointed about it. It’s stated that is a waterproof gel eyeliner but when I sweat the eyeliner just melts. (I just look like a panda!!!) It’s not long lasting as well. The only good things is its come with a small brush with cap. I think I’ll hardly use this eyeliner again. It’s sad.

Miniso True Queen Waterproof Eyeliner

• CP-1 Volume Express

This volumizing hair spray do have some good review from other users. It’s used to make you hair look shinny and volumized. It contains water polymer to coats your hair, so that it looks silky and shinny. It’s a water type hair spray, you just have to spray directly to your hair or hair roots. It also says that your curls can last longer with this hair spray. However, it do not impressed me. It has a very strong chemical smells that is unpleasant to me. Besides, after using this my hair is tangled although it does make my hair look less frizzy. My fingers can’t go through my hair smoothly with this products. I purchased this in order to replace my L’Occitance Volumizing hair spray that is quite pricey but I think I’ll still stick to L’Occitance. (See my full L’Occitance hair mist review here)

KAO Megrhythm Steam Eye Mask

Hello everyone, today I will wanna share something interesting for you girls to try. Have you ever use or try steam eye mask before? For me, myself I have never tried it. It’s my first time and I have fall in love with it.  It’s the Kao MegRhythm Steam Eye Mask. This product is very special and innovative.

It’s actually a Japanese brand called Kao Megrhythm. The product is made by the Kao Group from Japan, which is in the business of “prestige cosmetics, and premium skin care and hair care products; the Human Health Care Business with products that include functional health beverages and feminine and baby care products; and the Fabric and Home Care Business, which includes laundry detergents and household cleaners.” They are also in the Chemical Business. So, i’ll say that is a very reliable company. It is sold in almost all the Japanese drugstore and online on ebay as well. The price for this is very affordable. However, the description are all in Japanese but not to worry they do have worldwide website that are in English (Kao worldwide website).

Reviews 

What I can say is I really enjoy using this steam eye mask. I swear that I feel like using it everyday. The heat is just nice. It’s not hot like boiling but warm. The cotton pads is very smooth and soft to put on the eyes. The one that I have is in chamomile scent, the smell is not too strong. The aroma make you fall into sleep easily. It’s very comfortable and relaxing. The only downside is the period that the heat last is not long. The description says that the heat may last for 10 minutes. For me, it’s not long enough to enjoy the moment. I think I’ll definitely repurchase this product again. A big thumbs up for the steam eye mask.

Hello everyone, today I wanna share a hair mist that I love the most. It’s the L’Occitane Aromachology Volumizing Mist. I have try a few new hair mist but end up I still go back to this. I have been using this hair mist more than a year now.

This hair mist is formulated with a natural complex of five essential oils (artemisia, sweet orange, mint, pine and rosemary) as well as linden extract, the Aromachologie Volumizing Mist is a leave-in formula that adds volume to the roots of your hair. The silicone-free formula will leave your hair controlled, supple, shiny and delicately perfumed.

The smell of this hair mist is just so nice, to me it has a very mild floral scent. Not like others hair mist, this hair mist is not sticky at all. It’s very watery too. This product is a water-type spray that make it very easy to use. I spray it on the roots and ends of my hair everyday. It make my hair look more healthy and less frizzy now. But one thing you have to know is, although it say is volumizing but it doesn’t mean to hold your curl or hair style. It just volumized your hair. To me I just love this hair mist so much.

Apply this product on clean hair after towel-drying or on dry hair. Spray through hair concentrating at the roots. Style your hair like usual. No need to rinse.
