2016 TAIWAN BEAUTY POWER NETWORKING EVENT IN MALAYSIA

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Recently I have attended “Taiwan Beauty Power – a Networking Event in Malaysia”, in Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur. This event was held on last Monday, 22nd August 2016. I’m so glad that being invited to this Taiwan Beauty Networking event. As a beauty blogger, is always my pleasure to join such event to update the latest beauty trend and share around with all my girls.

This event is organized by Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) , Taiwan and implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, aims at promoting the “Taiwan Beauty Alliance” with selected 11 Taiwanese distinguished beauty brands which possess 5 major features: biotechnological, medical, innovative, fashion-forward and green.

It’s my all time favorite!!! It’s light-weight, hydrating, moisturizing and soothing. I have combination skin that tends to get oily in the afternoon. This toner doesn’t cause me to produce more oil or give me any stickiness feeling at all. It doesn’t cause me to have any redness or breakouts. Instead, it reduce my redness and appearance of my acne due to its calming effect. The smell of its is very pleasant and light. I prefer to use it directly without a cotton pad. Maybe due to its consistency, I feel that my cotton pad tends to absorbs all the product instead of my face. It absorbs into my skin really fast. I really love this toner. The best things is it can be used for all seasons (whether it’s summer or winter) because it’s hydrating and moisturizing but doesn’t cause your skin to produce more oils. My tips for this toner is soaked it with a compressed sheet mask or cotton pad for immediate face soothing especially your face breakouts time.

Will I repurchase? YES!!! I will definitely repurchase this toner. I have tried a few toner and this works the best for me. A little of this enough. A bottle of 150ml can last me for about 7-8 months. Can you imagine???!!! I use it for the day and night.

Let’s talk about the smell first, because I love it. It gives a very strong smell of citrus. If you don’t like strong citrus smell, you probably don’t gonna like it. Next, the sprayer. The sprayer for this mist is kinda different from others. Maybe the brand itself is trying to create a fine mist spray (just like it stated), thus the nozzle is really small. I have to really press the sprayer hard to get the mist cover my entire face. Product wise, it doesn’t cause my skin to have any breakouts or redness or improve my skin conditions either. It gives me a very sticky feeling (feeling like after you sweat or in a humid condition) not dewy. So, I don’t use it during the day. I usually use it when I’m going to bed (after I discover the stickiness it gives), just for an extra hydration and boost. For the packaging side, it’s just like others mist. It’s simple and nice. But make sure you place the bottle properly (standstill), I find that products tend to leak out from the nozzle. Selling price in Malaysia is RM105, UK is £18 for 100ml.

Will I repurchase? I will say, NO! I usually really love the products from Origins, but maybe not this mist. I find that other mist can do the work better. What it does is only keeping my face hydrated but not improving the dullness. The most annoying part is the sprayer and the sticky feeling.

However, they do have positive comments on this product. So, I think it depends on your skin. You may go to the counter or store to try it out first. If can I’ll suggest you bring a small bottle and ask them for sample (because the don’t have sample for this mist, so you may ask them to pour some for you to try, if it’s allow). The sale girl do test it out on my hand and she did mention it will not be sticky at all. However, the skin conditions on hand and skin might be a little different. So make sure you try it out since it’s not that cheap.

Face mist is something that you can always found in my bag. Today, I will wanna share with you one of my favorite face mist (I know I have too many favorites for face mist… lol). I’m staying in a humid and hot area. So any mist that gives me a refreshing, hydrating and non-sticky feeling, I’ll love it and Caudalie Grape Water does it all. I love this mist so much. This mist is very fine that two pumps is enough to cover the whole face. It’s so refreshing and hydrating. I using it to hydrate my face for all the time, using it to wet my makeup sponge, spray it after my makeup to set and give a glow effect. I can use it for everything because it’s not greasy at all. Thus, it can be suitable for all skin types. The best part is, it doesn’t cause me to have any breakouts due to it’s natural ingredients. The smell of this mist not strong. The packaging itself is simple and nice. It comes in two sizes, 2ooml and 75ml. I always carry the 75ml with me in the bag. The cost for this mist is RM70 ($22) for 200ml, RM35 ($13) for 75ml.

Will I repurchase? I will say, YES! This is because Caudalie’ products are all using natural and environmentally friendly active ingredients.
