MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND CONCEALER

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today I’ll be reviewing the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. Finally, I have owned this concealer and now reviewing for you girls! I know about this product quite a long time ago and I always want to give it a try. However, it’s not available in Malaysia until this year August. When it first launched, I immediately bring it back home with me.

MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND CONCEALER

What it claims: Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer instantly creates a radiant, refreshed looking eye area. Super concentrated formula with goji berry and Haloxyl helps to erase the appearance of dark circles and fine lines, while visibly diminishing the appearance of puffiness around the eyes.

What it is: Active Formula and Micro-Corrector Applicator erase dark circles, puffiness and fine lines instantly.

• Micro-Corrector Applicator micro-fills and smoothes.
• Active formula with Goji Berry &  Haloxyl reduces the look of puffiness and shadows while fading the appearance of under-eye circles.

How to use: 

Step 1 : Use applicator to apply concealer directly to under eye area, blending in an outward motion.

Step 2: Wipe off excess eye concealer with dry tissue only. Do not wet applicator.

REVIEW

For the first try, I’m already loving it. I love the packaging the most. It’s attached with a dense soft cotton puff, where the products will be dispose. It’s claims that the applicator (puff) is protected with an anti-microbial system. I believe that it’s to protect the puff from bacterial growth. Thus, please do not wet the puff with water. However, you can’t only depends on the applicator to blend out the product. It can be a bit tricky for you to control how much of product to apply. If you only using the applicator to blend, you might be building a thicker and thicker layer on it. I usually will dots it under my eyes area and blend it out with my own makeup sponge.

The coverage of this concealer to me is good, medium coverage (not too bad, but also not a things to be “wow”). It is not too creamy and thick, so you definitely can build it up. It doesn’t have any specific smell. Like some others concealer, this concealer will tends crease and dry the fine lines under the eyes too. So, make sure you prep and moisturize the eye area before applying it.

The shades that available in Malaysia are very limited. For the time being now, only two shades are available, which are Light and Medium.

Will I repurchase? Yes, I will. For a drugstore under eye concealer,  I find that this works the best.
